The name of your mom, dad, daughter, son, grandma, grandpa, teacher, master, friend, girlfriend, grandchild, godchild, godchild, neighbor girl, neighbor boy, nephew, niece ... It is carefully stamped. We stamp it letter by letter and try to keep them neatly aligned, but there’s always a slight variation, which clearly shows that it’s handmade.
Personalizing the tableware is only done to order and takes time (minimum 3 weeks). For the extra work and baking process we ask for an additional cost of 1€/letter.
The Medium/Americano coffee cup is often sold as a christening favor jar!
There are plenty of ways to fill our ceramic jars from candy, tea, or beans to a candle, a small plant, or bath salts.
The great thing about these jars is that they can be reused later as an espresso cup, a tapas dish, or a flower pot.
Your little one’s name is stamped or handwritten on each jar. This can be done using standard alphabet stamps or a custom stamp based on the birth announcement card. You’ll receive this stamp afterward.
Everything is custom-made, and here too, you can choose from different colors for the finish.
The shape and glaze are basically the same, but because everything is handmade and I want to show this clearly, no cup will be the same. This is my concept and creativity, the opposite of series work. This is my concept and creativity that I want to show clearly.
The collection is made of naturel clay. On the outside of each cup I deliberately leave a rough clay zone at the bottom in contrast with the glazed inside and top. The name is stamped onto the unglazed underside.
On the bottom the name is written in my handwriting with a brush, possibly finished with a heart. This is written in a magenta or mint color.
Making process
The high bucket is possible because the clay is stoneware clay and can withstand this high temperature. I have also specially designed the glaze recipe for a baking of 1250° and it is unique. This baking and making process determines that the collection has a high quality, so that pieces jumping, cracking, ... are virtually nil.Ceramics by Ann Van Beersel stands for functionality, beautiful high-quality objects that can be used every day with imperfection as a common thread in my design. The different collections give an authenticity to the decorated table and can be endlessly combined into a breakfast set or a complete set of tableware.
Easy to maintain, dishwasher safe and high temperature resistant.
