ARTISANN ceramic shop with ceramic studio - Belgian handmade contemporary ceramics

Artisann is our ceramic shop of beautiful, unique, high-quality handmade ceramics, located on the light tower square in Knokke. We proudly carry the HIB label (Handmade in Belgium). "I buy Belgian" certainly applies here. Our goal is to make quality ceramics, porcelain crockery, ceramic art, with an authenticity, individuality and exclusivity, happy by the feeling of use for the beautiful experience. Your table and kitchen get a special dimension with our handmade ceramics.

Each piece is made entirely by hand in our studio in Knokke. Always different, never the same. Each creation is created with a different force on the turntable, a different thickness in glaze. Only the passion and love for our handicraft remains the same. Nothing machined, just manual work.

You can experience the production process of our ceramics at Artisann. Here we make the collections of our own brand Artisann and the restaurant tableware "Chef's view". Our collections are unique because of our special glazes, the exclusive finish and the possibility to personalize ceramics with a name, text or saying.

Our story started after a gastronomic entrepreneurship of 24 years Hof van Craynbergh in Keerbergen. We have built this gastronomic restaurant together and already had the passion for a beautifully set table together. We were able to make this original by starting a nostalgic ceramic workshop on the Craynbergh. For example, I made my plates, bowls, dishes and table accessories for our gastronomic restaurant for years, until the time was right to continue with this. Ultimately, this dream came true with Artisann.

Since this year, Ignace has also designed and made a special collection for the catering industry. His years of experience as a chef and the passion for dressing differently on the plate results in a special unique plate line and extra table accessories.
