The collection of ceramist and interior designer Ann Van Beersel for Artisann is a collection where you can combine different glazes and clays together. My collection is full of imperfection and every scale is handcrafted and finished with care. The Beach scale is completely handmade and built in a mold. The shape and the glaze are basically the same, but because everything is made by hand and I want to show this clearly, no scale will be the same. This is my concept and creativity that I want to show clearly.
Imperfection is the common thread in my ARTISANN collection.
The "Beach" collection can be nicely combined with the "Dunes", "Sea" and "Zwin" collection. The "Beach" collection is made of burgundy brown clay and is finished with a beautiful floating blue glaze. On the outside of each scale I deliberately leave a rough clay zone on the underside in contrast with the glazed inside and on the top. The color of the floating blue glaze reacts very nicely with the red-brown clay, which is not possible with another clay.
My work is labeled with the formed "a" from artisann.
Ceramics from Ann Van Beersel stands for functionality, beautiful, high-quality objects that can be used every day with imperfection as the common thread in my design. The different collections give an authenticity to the decorated table and can be combined endlessly into a breakfast set or complete set. The "Beach" collection can be beautifully combined with the "Blue" and "Dunes" collection.

The Artisann collection is always highly baked at 1250 ° and is of high quality.
