The ceramic Horse Ombra within the "contrast and movement" series is a sculptural work and has an abstract design with an intense appearance. The horse was built entirely manually by a combination of clay plates and rolls from white clay. The structured skin of the horse was two-tone finished with a line of shrink glaze. The structure of the legs gives a stark contrast to the finish of the horse's skin of the body.
